Meet Carole Oliver
Grief Certified Edu-Therapy™ Specialist

Carole Oliver has over 20 years of working in the field of addictions, social housing and community poverty related issues. In all of her work with vulnerable populations a common factor is loss. Losses in many areas of their lives; family, jobs, divorce, death and the list goes on. Grief is the normal and natural reaction to loss – grievers have broken hearts and not broken heads. Carole has worked closely with groups who have experienced loss and grief and now offers a specialized Edu-Therapy™ Solutions eight week grief recovery program.

In less than eighteen months I lost three grandparents. I was exceptionally close to them and after they passed away I felt lost and very alone. I kept wondering why I couldn’t get over the feelings of loneliness and pain, after all grandparents are old and their death is not unusual. My feelings of pain and hurt just weren’t logical to me until I learned that the pain was in my heart. Logic had nothing to do with the pain that I was feeling.
